Joined by 'Country Strong' co-star Tim McGraw, director Shana Feste,
and Faith Hill, Gwyneth Paltrow received the 2,427th star on the Walk
of Fame on Monday, December 13, 2010 in Hollywood.
She gave an
emotional speech, saying, "This city is so much a part of my heart and
soul, and the idea that my grandchildren can one day come and see my
name on the sidewalk is very overwhelming." She thanked her family and
friends at the late-morning event held in front of the popular Madame
Tussauds, "I don't think I would be here were it not for my family and
old friends," she said.
Oscar-winner Reese Witherspoon has been honored with a much coveted
star on Hollywood Boulevard. It's the 2,425th star bestowed on the world
renowned, "Walk of Fame".
The "Walk the Line" and "Legally Blonde" actress unveiled her Hollywood Walk of Fame honor on Wednesday outside the W Hotel, in Hollywood CA.
The ceremony was
scheduled to coincide with the December 17th release of her latest
movie, "How Do You Know," co-starring Jack Nicholson, Paul Rudd and Owen
Wilson - written and directed by James L. Brooks.
It was James
L. Brooks who introduced the actress to the crowd gathered on the
Boulevard. Also making a cameo appearance were her two favorite costars,

Christina Aguilera and Cher attended the premiere of their film
'Burlesque' on Monday (November 15, 2010) at Grauman’s Chinese Theater
in Hollywood.
The 29-year-old singer looked gorgeous in an Elie Saab emerald green empire waist silk chiffon gown and Neil Lane jewels.
Cher,
64, debuted a more risque outfit - stepping onto the red carpet in a
sparkly black dress with a plunging neckline, very high hemline and lacy
bra.
Director Steven Antin beamed over his supporting cast
Julianne Hough, Cam Gigandet and Stanley Tucci as well as Celebrity
well-wishers including Will Ferrell, Jane Fonda, Kathy Griffin, Patricia
Clarkson, Debi Mazar and AnnaLynne McCord among others. Chaz Bono, Cher's son,
showed up with girlfriend Jennifer Elia.
Earlier in the day,
Aguilera received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Hundreds of fans

Robert Downey Jr and Zach Galifianakis walked the red carpet in LA, for the world premiere of their new comedy "Due Date" held at Grauman's Chinese Theater in Los Angeles on Thursday, October 28, 2010.
Downey Jr. made his way down the press line with his lovely wife Susan, while Galifianakis toted his adorable French Bulldog costar.
Other stars of the film, like Jamie Foxx, Michelle Monaghan and Juliette Lewis, also made appearances that night, joined by producer/director Todd Phillips. Additionally, comedian Ken Jeong made a guest appearance bringing along some stand-up routine for the walk down the carpet.
As for style watch, Michelle Monaghan wore her dark hair in loose curls for the premiere and were perfect for the bright red Versace dress. Complementing the red mini were nude Christian Louboutin pigalles heels.
About the film, Director Todd Phillips re-teams with his break-out "Hangover" star Zach Galifianakis for the road movie concerning a soon-to-be father (Robert Downey Jr.) and his cross-country trip to make it back in time for his baby's birth ... with the only roadblock being the dubious passenger (Galifianakis) who's along for the ride.

The new movie "Jackass 3D" reunites the old gang (including Johnny Knoxville, Steve-O, Bam Margera, Wee Man and Chris Pontius) for an all-new generous helping of hilarity and strange experiments...in 3D.
The cast came to Hollywood Blvd. in Los Angeles, CA on Wednesday night October 13, 2010, for the premiere of the movie at the Chinese Theater.
Most of the cast made it out, as did Jenna Jameson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Kat Non D, Lisa Kennedy Montgomery, Nikki Sixx, Dr. Drew Pinsky and Michelle Johnson among others.
At the premiere, its stars revealed to the Press Association the extent to which they threw themselves into the 3D challenge.
