John Goodman placed his hands and feet in cement in front of the famous TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard Thursday (November 14, 2013) cheered on by the stars and directors of his new movie "Inside Llewyn Davis."
During his speech the 61 year old actor said: "I came out here in 1980 and one of the first things I did was go up this sidewalk and look at these people, and never in a million years dreamed that I would ever have this honor. It means I'm a Hollywood actor now."
He also thanked former co-star Roseanne, "But I really wouldn't be up here if it wasn't for them. I'd like to thank Roseanne too for bumping into me along the way. It's just an honour to be here today. It's incredible, I never thought I'd be here."
The Missouri-born star, although best known for the TV show Roseanne, for which he won a Best Actor Golden Globe Award in 1993, has had a long and varied career including providing the voice of Sulley in Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University. Other prominent roles Goodman has portrayed include supporting roles in The Artist, Argo, Flight, and The Hangover Part III and a regular role on the first season of HBO's Treme. As a film actor, Goodman has frequently collaborated with the Coen brothers on such films as Raising Arizona, Barton Fink, The Big Lebowski, and O Brother, Where Art Thou? Just in time for Halloween, Chloe Grace Moretz and Julianne Moore were on hand to premiere their latest horror flick "Carrie" in Hollywood at the Arclight Cinemas on Monday (October 7, 2013). Looking Prom-ready, and a bit spooky, in a vintage-inspired Valentino gown, Chloe's choice delivered an appropriately creepy vibe to the red carpet.
The Kimberly Peirce- directed film, which hits theaters on October 18th, is a re-imagining of the classic horror tale about Carrie White (Chloë Grace Moretz), a shy girl outcast by her peers and sheltered by her deeply religious mother (Julianne Moore), who unleashes telekinetic terror on her small town after being pushed too far at her senior prom. The film is based on the best-selling novel by Stephen King, Carrie is directed by Kimberly Peirce with a screenplay by Lawrence D. Cohen and Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa.

Hugh Jackman suited up, and not in his Wolverine outfit, to attend the premiere of his new film, "Prisoners," on Thursday evening (September 12, 2013) at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences in Beverly Hills. Both Jackman and co-star Jake Gyllenhaal were dressed to impress on the evening as they both donned crisply fitted dark two-button suits and white shirts. Although, Gyllenhaal did strike a contrast with his polished upper body but lost style points below the ankles when it came to his shoes...coined by some in the media as "homeless shoes" covered in dust.
All the while 46 year old co-star Maria Bello rocked it from head to toe, looking great in a knee-length black skirt that she teamed with a sheer tank-top blouse with metallic embroidery and a pair of pointy pumps.
The actors were joined by fellow co-stars Terrence Howard, Viola Davis and Melissa Leo also looking quite stellar as well.

Gentlemen, start your engines! Selena Gomez, the 21-year-old singer/actress, was all "revved-up" and looking stunning while cruising down the Red Carpet wearing a Vera Wang dress, Jimmy Choo heels, and Lorraine Schwartz jewels, at the "Getaway" Premiere in Westwood, CA last evening (August 26, 2013).
The former Disney starlet appears opposite Ethan Hawke and Jon Voight in the action flick... and at the event last night, Selena and Ethan were hitting it off quite well. She even appeared rather flirty with her co-star on the carpet - but all in good fun. Additional entertainment at the event was provided by an orchestrated car stunt involving a convoy of Shelby Mustangs and assorted muscle cars and trucks whizzing by the theater and adding to the excitement of the evening.
Although Selena has been very busy as of late, she did announce recently that despite her huge success with her debut solo album, which premiered at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart, she will be taking a hiatus from singing after her tour. She revealed to US Magazine, "I'm a woman so I change my mind all the time. One day I want to do acting and just that, and then other times I just want to do music and just that, so it changes,.. But this is my last record for a while. I'm going to tour it and then I'm going to just kind of get into acting for a really long period of time, hopefully."
