Salma Hayek and co-stars arrived at the world premiere of “Sausage Party” held at the Regency Village Theatre in Westwood, California on Tuesday (August 9, 2016). Hayek, who lends her voice to the R-Rated raunchy animated feature, had a great time posing with the characters and with whatever vegetables she could get her hands on - as the Red Carpet was transformed into a grocery store. So yes, that is Salma Hayek with pair of lettuce heads at chest level.

The film brings to life food items that occupy the shelves at a local supermarket (Shopwells), Frank (Seth Rogen) the sausage, Brenda (Kristen Wiig) the hot dog bun, Teresa Taco( Salma Hayek). They all dream of one thing: to be chosen by a customer and taken to their home.
At a 90% rating currently on Rotten Tomatoes, the consensus seems to be raunchy adult-themed hilarity…and definitely not for kids.
The age-less beauty herself admitted in an interview with Collider just how ‘naughty’ her taco character was. “I don’t know how they got me. I think I was hypnotized…I am one naughty, naughty taco. She is a bad girl, in a different way. It’s the naughtiest thing I’ve ever done. I never thought I’d ever say some of those things out loud.” She added: “But, I had a lot of fun working with Seth. It’s a different kind of crazy.”

This past Saturday, (July 9, 2016) saw the long-awaited return and world premiere of "Ghostbusters" in Hollywood at the TCL Chinese Theater.
Thirty years after the beloved original franchise took the world by storm, the reboot features new characters and an all-female cast playing the team of Ghostbusters led by Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones. In the original 1984 film and its 1989 sequel, the supernatural investigators were famously played by Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Ernie Hudson and Harold Ramis.
Director and Screenwriter Paul Feig created quite a buzz in some social media circles when casting all women as evidenced by the film's first trailer which racked up a record number of dislikes for a movie trailer on YouTube.
In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Sony movie studio chief Tom Rothman said the controversy surrounding the movie is "the greatest thing that ever happened." He added, "Are you kidding me? We're in the national debate, thank you. Can we please get some more haters to say stupid things?"
It was a special evening as stars from the original 1984 movie showed their support for the new cast by attending the premiere. Dan Aykroyd, 64, who played Ray Stantz in the original, brought along his wife Donna Dixon as well as his entire family. Ernie Hudson, 70, who played Winston Zeddemore, and Annie Potts, 63, who played the receptionist and Ray Parker Jr. who sung the original theme song, also attended.
Jon Heder, 38, Lizzy Caplan, 34, Pete Wentz, 37, Austin Mahone, 20, and girlfriend Katya Henry also walked the carpet at the premiere. Ghostbusters will hit theaters on July 15.

Zac Efron arrived at the Cinerama Dome at ArcLight Hollywood on Wednesday (June 29, 2016) for the special screening of Twentieth Century Fox's "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates" sporting 90's inspired frosted tips. Was Efron embracing retro-style? Looking to bring back a bit of nostalgia? No, not really. it seems that Efron's frosted tips weren't inspired by retro-trends at all. Actually, the bold look was due to the production of his upcoming "Baywatch" reboot co-starring Dwayne Johnson.
Efron was joined on the red carpet by his co-star - "Modern Family's" Adam DeVine. Their bromance high jinks spilled onto the red carpet as Devine jumped on Efron's back for an impromptu piggy-back ride. All in a day's work promoting their Summer Comedy.
Cast members Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza, Sugar Lynn Beard and Alice Wetturland were also on the fun-filled, sun-drenched red carpet. All did their best to avoid the harshness of the sun for the photographers, but to no avail. However, most still managed to look their best with smiles and cute poses.
About the film: About the film: Hard-partying brothers Mike (Adam DeVine) and Dave (Zac Efron) place an online ad to find the perfect dates (Anna Kendrick, Aubrey Plaza) for their sister’s Hawaiian wedding. Hoping for a wild getaway, the boys instead find themselves outsmarted and out-partied by an uncontrollable duo.
